Hibiscus Hotel is fantastic, very private, with a great beach and comfortable rooms. It's perfect for relaxing and not going anywhere. Summer is the best time to visit; in winter the sea is like the Huangpu River, but in summer it's a deep, clear blue. The snorkeling is just average, but the fireflies are absolutely magical, though there are very few left. I don't know if I'll see them again. The first hotel I stayed at was a very cost-effective 5-star hotel. Sabah probably has one of the most comprehensive hotel experiences in Southeast Asia, offering not only clear waters but also many other fun activities.

We traveled as a family; my grandparents are in their 70s and my daughter is 12, but everyone was very happy. The ship's facilities were luxurious, like a 5-star hotel, and there were many activities, but good English was required, as there was only one Chinese translator on board. There were Western-style meals available, but we didn't go because the buffet was excellent (all included in the cruise ticket, no extra charge), which was perfect for Chinese people who aren't used to Western food. The arrival times at various attractions were also convenient, and we had a very enjoyable trip. We would definitely choose a cruise again next time we have the opportunity.
