This might be helpful to someone. I installed an e-SIM only with a VPN. The problem might have been that we were already at the airport, or maybe there were some restrictions there. It worked when I manually enabled data roaming permission. We used it in Yerevan, and everything was fine.

The SIM card connected without any problems. I just needed to enable data roaming. The signal is good. And it's inexpensive. We bought it to stay connected on the road, since we don't have WiFi yet.

It's fine, but if you arrive during the day, you can get a local plan with a phone number for 10 times cheaper. For example, I used it for a couple of hours, and then bought a normal plan for 12 lari for a week.

I installed an ESIM card back in Russia. I had no problems in Armenia or Georgia. Sometimes it stops working, but a reboot helps.
