Reviews: Giza Pyramids and The Sphinx Walking Tour

The best tour in Egypt, I highly recommend it! We've been in Egypt for two weeks now, visiting the various attractions throughout the country, and this tour was truly the best by far! Sherif knows a great deal about the pyramids and their history, and he shares his knowledge with passion and clarity. He takes the time to explain the history, answer questions, and even debunk myths. He goes at a relaxed, easy pace. We walked around the site, stopping at key locations for explanations and plenty of time to take photos. Sherif also took some beautiful photos of us at the pyramids. If you come to Egypt, you'll definitely visit the pyramids. I 100% recommend doing it with Sherif. For us, it was the highlight of our trip, largely due to his passion and sense of humor!

We went on this tour expecting to be with other people, but instead we were alone with our guide, Emad, who was very knowledgeable, a skilled photographer, and spoke excellent English. He gave us the option of choosing what to do and in what order (starting with Giza or Saqqara). The only downside was that he wanted to take us to a perfume and oil shop, and we never stopped for lunch, but luckily we weren't hungry! Overall, a great experience, and thank you, Emad!

The way our guide Mohamed described the evolution of pyramid construction from Djoser’s Step Pyramid to the smooth ones at Giza was incredible. He had visuals on his tablet that helped us imagine the architecture. This gave the day an educational layer that I really appreciated. We were a group of coworkers on a company retreat, and this tour added a cultural dimension to our trip. I also appreciated that lunch was not just “tourist food,” but a real Egyptian meal. The attention to authenticity was something we all noticed.
