Our tour guide was energetic, well informed and engaging. We visited the castle above Gjirokaster and an old mansion . Both were lovely. In summary, I would recommend.

Reviews: From Tirana: Kruja Castle, Old Bazaar & Sari Salltik View

I’ve now done three tours with Smart Tour Albania, and they’ve all been excellent! I was lucky enough to have Klajdi as my guide again today for Krujë + Sari Salltik. He’s incredibly knowledgeable, friendly, and passionate about Albanian history. He shared great insights about the Bektashi Sufi tradition and brought the story of Skanderbeg and Krujë to life. I was absolutely floored by the panoramic views from the mountain; it was otherworldly. Highly recommend this tour, especially Klajdi, if you want to understand the history and spirit of Albania.

This was a wonderful tour and Ervin was a fantastic guide. He was knowledgeable about Albanian history and culture and he was very kind and personable. We had a wonderful lunch in Saranda at the end of our tour. I highly recommend it!

Very good service of the Company. This was the highlight of our holidays in Albani. We had a paddle tour with our guide and he suggested us a day trip to Gjirokaster , a UNESCO site which was absolutely magnificient. You should try this tour. Note: book in advance. They are almost full in the summer and you'd badely find seats.
