Definitely recommended if your Switzerland trip is a couple of weeks as train travel is the way to go over there. It’s so convenient purchasing it at Trip.com and the tickets are emailed almost immediately. Be sure to print it out or keep it in your phone as conductors do check your half fare card almost every time. You must buy this if you go to Switzerland to make your life easier... just choose the train anytime without having to buy a ticket, especially if you have a very limited schedule, because buying tickets also takes time.
