It was such a pleasant trip! The customer service was very patient in explaining everything. After placing my order, I received an email informing me to wait at my hotel reception at 6:45 AM. The driver would pick me up and take me to the bus pick-up point to the left of the opera house. The customer service representative would call my name from the electronic list. Throughout the trip, the tour guide provided explanations, and I used a translation app to translate everything simultaneously. Even if you don't speak English, it wasn't a problem. As long as you knew the pick-up point and the meeting time, and confirmed with the tour guide again, you could relax and enjoy the trip while taking photos.

This half day tour is a great and convenient way to visit Hallstat. It is of course more expensive than taking the train or public bus+ferry to get to Hallstat, but it is certainly a time-saver. It's essentially a direct bus trip to Hallstat with a bit of commentary of interesting places that we passed and some history. Once you reached Hallstat, you will go around on your own for about 2.5 hours and the bus will come to pick up at a certain time. The 1.5 hours ride is comfortable and there's a power point at your seat if you need to charge your phone.

The tour was definitely worth the money. The bus ride was very comfortable. The meeting point was near the opera house in the city center, easily accessible by metro. There was plenty of space on the bus, and an outlet for charging your phone. The views during the ride were incredible! Our guide, Izzy, was wonderful. During the ride, she shared interesting facts about the place with us and also showed us around once we were there. I was traveling alone, and having Izzy as my guide, I felt extremely well-cared for. A pleasant surprise was that Izzy took a photo of everyone, which she later developed and gave us as a souvenir (along with a postcard). She also made coffee during the ride. We had plenty of time in Hallstatt to explore on our own. If you're considering this tour, don't hesitate! Both the place and the guide were fantastic <3

Because of overbooking we were offered an alternative tour, which included Melk, Hallstatt and Salzburg. The guide, Olga, was amazing! She kept us company during the whole trip sharing her knowledge and interesting stories. The time at each location was just right. We always departed at the scheduled time. Everything was excellent.


