An intense but very interesting day. For a somewhat curious reason, we took the boat from Hillary, which lengthened the travel time a bit. The visits to Rottnest Island and the guides' explanations taught us a lot about the island's history. The only slight drawback: while lunch was included (and actually quite good despite being described as light), the lunch break was very, very short. It's certainly not the most important point, but it's worth considering how to extend it, even by just 15 minutes perhaps (the return trip to the dock was made a bit too early, as the boat wasn't ready or even arrived yet, leaving us with about 30 to 40 minutes of free time on the way back that could have been used for a bit more lunch).

Little time for the wildlife park, photoshoot with wombat, koala and kangaroos. Lunch at lobster shack is Fish and chips, upgradeable to lobster for a fee. Pinnacle was an eye opener. Sand dune, sand boarding and 4-wheel drive ride was the most fun. Nice trip. Convenient bus pick-up and drop-off.
