This was an amazing experience. Our guide was so well versed in flora, fauna and Hawaiian mythology. She explained all the geological features on the way to mountain and other guide was well versed in stars. We learned a lot about them! I would recommend this experience especially if you do not feel safe driving 4wd cars on rough unpaved roads of mountains. Also if you are interested in stars but no knowledge of how to use telescope or take photos of them. It worth its cost! Thanks for an unforgettable experience.

Excellent tour!!! Every stop on the tour (lava tunnel, lava trees, black sand beach), every story about Pele was awesome and led to the awesome view of the active caldera. While it was not visible at dusk, it certainly let us know it was there.
