After our visit to Mauna Kea had been canceled two days earlier due to bad weather conditions, we were able to go this time. We had a good transfer by minibus to a stopover point. There, a colleague took over with a special bus for the mountain trip. We received lots of useful information. We were able to see a fantastic sunset, but unfortunately the clouds covered the starry sky. However, no one could do anything about that, and the team tried very hard to make it a wonderful trip nonetheless. Since it was a full moon, the conditions for a dark sky with better visibility were not ideal from the start, but we already knew that before we booked. Overall, it was a great experience. Highly recommended.

Fabulous 12 hour tour - saw the whole island in one go - as we only had a few days on Big Island. 11 of us in comfortable Mercedes van, plenty of rest stops, lovely lunch - and our amazing knowledgeable guide Felix!

The tour was a once-in-a-lifetime experience. We sailed through breathtakingly beautiful places and even saw whales. The tour guide was very kind and helpful, and we learned a great deal about the whales in the area. The boat itself was also very nice, clean, and comfortable. I can only recommend to everyone not to miss this tour.

The absolute best tour. Chris was the best tour guide I ever had. We started the day as strangers and left feeling like family! The views were amazing and he was so nice and knowledgeable!
