A very convenient pass! We used it to visit several places from Osaka: Hiroshima and Miyajima, Himeji, Kurashiki, Okayama, and Kyoto. We activated it at Kansai Airport. It took us a while to figure out how to buy tickets from the machine. It turns out you have to insert them one at a time, not a bunch.

Once you arrive at Hiroshima Station, you can transfer. After confirming the dates, you can ride the trams and buses freely for two days. Hiroshima's transportation is indeed convenient, with many routes closely connected, short departure times, and the price is the same for all routes: 240 yen. To go to Miyajima, take a street bus to Miyajimaguchi Station, and then use the pass to take a local bus to Miyajima. The round trip costs 400 yen (an additional 100 yen is charged at the entrance). Considering all the savings, this pass is extremely worthwhile and practical. It's a pity the Miyajima Ropeway is closed until the end of July; otherwise, you could get a discount with this pass.

This time I went to Japan with my husband to celebrate our wedding anniversary and he bought this JR Sanyo & Sanin Regional Rail Pass from Trip.com, which really saved us a lot of money and time! Starting from Fukuoka, we traveled all the way to Hiroshima, Matsue, Okayama and then to Osaka. The whole trip was very fulfilling. My favorite part was the drive to Matsue, the coast scenery along the Sanin Main Line is so beautiful that I couldn't stop taking pictures, my husband said I seemed to have used the capacity of the whole phone😂 Matsue is really romantic, we also specially watched the sunset of Lake Shindo, the pink sky reflected the lake, the whole life will remember! The most surprising thing is that this Pass allows you to take the Shinkansen unreserved seat without making an appointment to board the train directly. After eating oysters in Hiroshima, I made an impromptu decision to go to Miyajima to see the big torii. It’s no problem. It’s super free! The e-ticket redemption process is simple and the staff has a good attitude. The 7-day ride is really worth the money. The average daily fare is less than HK$300. It's a bargain! Highly recommended for couples or couples who want to go to Shanyang Shanyin area with their significant other. ❤️

I bought the Okayama & Hiroshima & Yamaguchi Area Rail Pass for my trip to Miyajima, Kintai Bridge, Onomichi, Okayama, and Takamatsu in Okayama, Hiroshima, and Yamaguchi. The latest price is 17,000 yen, but it's 828 yuan on Ctrip. It's valid for travel between Hakata and Okayama in Kyushu. I exchanged the ticket at the West Japan Green Window at JR Hakata Station; it was very convenient.

The 7-day Seto Inland Sea Pass is a must-have, offering exceptional value. This trip included the Sanyo Shinkansen from Hakata to Hiroshima, Ono, Okayama, and Osaka, as well as the ferry from Hiroshima to Matsuyama. I also visited famous landmarks like Shimonada Station and Imabari Station, a cyclist's paradise. The Shodoshima ferry is also available. Planning your trip in advance will make it more economical and smoother.
