Reviews: Vietnam Hoi An river night cruise with lantern release|Boat Ride Ticket with Lantern Releasing Experience on Huai River
Guest User2026-03-11
Here's a photo of the shop where you can pick up your ticket. It's less than 10 meters from the actual scene depicted on the back of the 20,000 Vietnamese Dong banknote; you can't drive in by car. The ancient town has a great atmosphere. Let's Go Travel and Boat Lantern Tour—this is the English address I got from the taxi fare shown to me based on the Vietnamese address provided by the shop owner.
Reviews: Hoi An Coconut Boat Adventure and Ancient Town Discovery Private Tour (option: Marble Mountain)
Guest User2026-01-21
We booked this private tour and it was fun. Tour guide was professional and showed up on time and was communicative beforehand. We went to marble mountain first and he allowed time for us to take photos and even helped us to take group photos. Then we went to hoi an coconut village first. That was super fun. It wasnt as crowded as we thought and the boat riders were funny. I find hoi an ancient town to be rushed. It was packed in the main tourist area where they had lantern but you cant see anything in the dark. I dont recommend doing the lantern thing. Photo was hard to take from your mobile as it was dark. Overall it was a good experience with my friends.

We had Lin as our guide and she was amazing - very witty, speaks English very well, told us a lot of interesting facts. Also she felt very sincere, as if it wasn’t just her job, but she wanted to be there and tell stories) Highly recommend going with her. Also waking up so early is totally worth it, when we were heading back huge groups started showing up while we had the place to ourselves.
Reviews: Full-day Cham Island Tour & Snorkeling from Danang & Hoi An

If you’re staying in Da Nang or Hoi An and looking for a quick tropical getaway, the Full-day Cham Island (Cu Lao Cham) Tour is one of the most popular choices. Since this is a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve, it offers a mix of cultural history and marine adventure. Here is a balanced review based on the typical itinerary and recent traveler experiences in 2025–2026. Quick Verdict: 4/5 Stars ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Best for: Families, budget travelers, and those who want a "sampler" of Vietnamese island life. Not for: Serious divers or people who hate crowds. The Highlights * The Speedboat Ride: The day starts with an exhilarating 20-minute speedboat dash from Cua Dai Quay. It’s bumpy, fast, and a lot of fun if you enjoy a bit of an adrenaline rush. * Cultural Stops: Unlike simple snorkeling trips, this tour includes stops at Bai Lang to see the Ancient Champa Well and the Hai Tang Pagoda. It gives the trip some historical "meat" rather than just being a beach day. * The Food: Almost every traveler raves ab

It was a very good experience. However, there was one mysterious Asian person among the mostly English-speaking participants, which made it a bit difficult for someone with poor communication skills. You have to listen carefully to the guide's English or you'll get lost, so you have to be careful. Also, be careful: there are times along the way when you have to choose between walking or taking the elevator, and if you take the elevator, you'll need cash. I didn't have any cash on me, so I was stuck, but a kind couple paid for my fare as well. They were amazing.
