Booking Taiwan High Speed Rail tickets using Trip is no problem and convenient. However, when I went to pick up my ticket at the Zuoying High Speed Rail station, a female staff member, having just finished serving another customer, immediately placed the handover tag on the counter. Then, when I went to another male staff member at a different counter, she immediately removed the tag and served the next customer. Her service attitude made me feel very uncomfortable.★

Five-star hotels are clean and comfortable. The restaurant is not big, but the service is very good. You can tell the chef puts his heart into every dish. Except for the fried shrimp, which had a thicker batter, all the other dishes were good. I had a very pleasant meal.★

It's usually quite crowded, but it has everything you'd expect. The beef soup was delicious, and the beef was very tender. I'd definitely go back. I don't eat much; I'm full after about an hour.★

You can get an electronic voucher immediately after placing an order, and then book your trip through the Taiwan Railways app. Sharing my Taiwan Pass 3-Day Railway Itinerary for your reference:
Day 1: Taoyuan - Yilan (Photos at Jimmy Park + local breakfast on the train)
Yilan - Shoufeng (Using an Uber with a NT$300 discount to Ideal Land
Starbucks coffee)
Shoufeng - Chishang (Ubike ride around Dapo Pond & Brown Avenue)
Chishang - Taitung (Local express train, overnight stay at Tiehua Village)
Day 2: Taitung - Jinlun (round trip)
(Visit the observation deck for views of the Jinlun Bridge and the seascape, enjoy local cuisine, visit a unique church, enjoy the sea at Jinlun Coast, and if time permits, soak in the saltwater hot springs. Return to Taitung for rest in the afternoon, and visit Tiehua Village for live music in the evening)
Day 3: Taitung - Kaohsiung (Using the Kaohsiung MRT + Light Rail free pass to explore Kaohsiung + eat at Dan Dan Burger)
Kaohsiung - Chiayi (Stroll to Wenhua Road Night Market for dinner)

I used this service for the following routes: Taipei-Tainan, Tainan-Chiayi, Chiayi-Tainan, and Tainan-Taipei. I was able to book online the first time, but after that I couldn't book online and had to book at the counter. Please be careful! I enjoyed the excitement of having stickers indicating my destinations attached to my ticket!
