Staff service could have been better - I followed the instructions set out in the confirmation email and reached 15 Field Street Huskisson 30 minutes before the whale watching cruise set off. It brought my family and I to this bistro with a huge "Jervis Bay Wild" poster. Outside the bistro was a blackboard which instructed whale watching passengers to wait in a line, which my family and I followed. Over time, a few groups of people joined us in the queue. We stood there waiting for 23 minutes before a staff from the bistro came out and instructed us to walk to the whale watching boat further down the wharf (away from the bistro). When we boarded the boat, I noticed this male crew who held a clipboard to take attendance of passengers because he walked past us at the entrance of the bistro where we queued up, without saying a word or to advise us to head towards the boat. I ended up not getting a good seat on the boat despite being early. I did not catch a glimpse of any whale.★
