We absolutely loved this tour! The experience was seamless from the start, with a punctual pickup right from our hotel. Our guide, Mr. Azam, was incredibly knowledgeable about the history and culture of Hyderabad. He paced the day perfectly, navigating the sites so that we avoided long lines and crowds. One thing we truly appreciated was his eye for photography; he knew all the best vantage points to capture the perfect shots. While the itinerary officially mentioned four locations, we were pleasantly surprised when he took us to several other important sites nearby. For lunch, I asked for a "good" place, but we were taken to a fantastic spot! Another highlight was the Golconda Fort: Mr. Azam ensured we visited the best spots to truly experience the acoustics and engineering brilliance of the fort. Both Mr. Azam and the chauffeur, Mr. Sami, were highly professional, patient, and courteous throughout the day before dropping us back at our hotel. This was easily one of the best touring experiences we’ve ever had. If it’s your first time in Hyderabad, I cannot recommend this enough. A special thanks to Ms. Sheena, India TajMahal Tour Operators for her proactive and timely communication. Her constant updates made the entire process stress-free and memorable. Thank you.

My friend and I took this tour during our trip to Hyderabad. The tour was fantastic! Our tour guide John picked us up at our hotel and took us to Chowmahalla, Chaminar and Old City bazaar. He was very knowledgeable and kind. John explained the history of Hyderabad and Chowmahalla perfectly. Then we went to the bazaar where we stopped at a tea shop. We had chai and some delicious fresh baked cookies. We walked to the Chaminar and took a tuktuk back to the car. The tour was amazing. My friend and I had a blast and felt safe the while time!

Our guide, Shashi, was FIVE stars! She is so knowledgeable, friendly, and helpful. Pickup at our hotel was perfect, communication and coordination throughout the day was excellent, and we had an appropriate anoint of time at each spot. Shashi seemed to know everyone at each of our venues which really helped at certain points. For example, a special event was happening at Chowmahalla Palace so a portion of it was blocked to visitors but Shashi got us in with full access. We would 1,000% work with 5 Senses Tours again in a heartbeat - we often have regular company visitors to our Hyderabad office and we will most definitely book with these guys again!

Reviews: Private tour of Hyderabad with lunch for a cultural immersion

A great way to spend the day in Hyderabad and get to know the city's history if you are short on time. The transportation is reliable and we were able to see a lot of sites even though it rained in the morning. Srinu was a great guide. I especially liked the Irani tea with freshly baked cookies, and the lunch of roti, savory vegetarian curry, and biryani. It's also nice incorporating some exercise/walking too! It's not part of the tour but it is possible to visit some shops if you agree to go. I was not interested in pearls, but after the tour ended, we passed by a shop selling jewelry, scarves, carpets and ornaments. I got to taste some saffron tea with honey, see art and feel some soft cashmere. Perhaps, just do not be pressured to go or buy from the shops if you do not feel like it.
