Reviews: Tokyo 1-day tour to Mt. Omuro + Jogasaki Coast + Ito Marine Town, including free cable car ride at Mt. Omuro

Our tour guide, Mr. Hu, was very responsible, diligent, and provided detailed explanations. The driver drove smoothly; both were excellent! The itinerary in Izu was well-planned. Mt. Omuro was beautiful on a sunny day—it was a very enjoyable day! 🥰

Winter days are short and the day gets dark early, so the itinerary was quite rushed. We arrived in Hakone in the morning and didn't get to visit the art museum. We rushed to Lake Yamanaka around 3 PM to take photos of Mount Fuji with its backlighting. The driver was a Chinese woman who had lived in Japan for over 20 years. She drove steadily and chatted with us the whole way, which was very nice. It was a small group of 9 people, but that day it was just our family of 4, which was great. 👍

It's incredibly cost-effective. It's much cheaper than taking public transportation, and it saves a lot of time!
Reviews: 1-day tour to Atami and Mt. Omuro with fireworks [optional 9-person small group | hotel pickup | Chinese/English-speaking guide]

Our tour guide, Serina, was very attentive. When the Mt. Omuro sightseeing bus stopped running, she immediately changed our route to Owakudani, hoping we could have a great time. The shops in Atami Shopping Street were sparsely populated, making the selection a bit of a shame. The final Atami fireworks display was truly beautiful, and I was lucky to catch it during my trip – definitely worth buying a trip pass to see it. Plus, the return journey was much easier; we didn't have to squeeze onto the crowded subway back to the hotel.

This was a fun experience, but it's worth being aware that if it's windy you cannot ride the cable car. The capybara were cute and free roaming at the entrance, but the zoo is a bit small and sad looking. Many animals seem to be hungry to encourage them to interact with people who can buy food to feed them. Many nocturnal animals in lit up areas, it made me feel a bit uneasy. Our tour guide didnt speak English, I was very lucky I had people who spoke Chinese who relayed the day to me.

The itinerary was well-planned. The tour guide spoke Mandarin, English, and Cantonese, with excellent English pronunciation and great patience. The scenic spots he arranged were all must-see locations, perfect for taking great photos.
