Reviews: Chaozhou the great tide returns·dreaming of Zhuchao show (live performance + immersive cultural feast)
Guest User2026-02-02
Great value for money! Especially if your ancestral home is China/your ancestors came from China, you'll resonate even more! Don't listen to those who say it's not good; it requires resonance, empathy, and a heartfelt connection to truly appreciate it. I was genuinely moved! 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

Reviews: Guangdong intangible cultural heritage performance experience/Chaoshan Yingge dance | Shantou Yingge dance (interactive/photo opportunity available)
Guest User2026-06-24
It has a strong cultural feel and provides a deeper understanding of the local area. Children and the elderly also enjoy it. A pot of tea and peanuts are provided. There are about 3-4 performances, including lion dance, opera (similar to Taiwanese opera), and a large-scale Yingge dance. There is also interaction with the audience, such as taking photos. The Yingge dance is very impressive and has a historical feel, which is worth developing. However, the overall stage, training, and environment are not refined enough and can be improved to become a highlight of future tourism to Chaozhou.

Reviews: Private One-Day Tour: Shantou "A Letter to Grandma" + Qiaopi (Overseas Chinese Correspondence) Experience+pick up&drop off service offered in Chaozhou or Shantou

Extremely satisfied with this chartered day trip! The driver is a local, familiar with all the must-see spots, and avoids congested areas to save time. He's a steady driver, very courteous, and provides brief explanations of local customs and culture along the way. He completely respected our pace of the trip, and was easy to communicate with if we changed the itinerary at the last minute. The whole trip was hassle-free and added a lot to our experience. Highly recommended! 😁😁😁

Reviews: Zaiyang teahouse in Chaozhou | Paifang street branch • Enjoy tea and Chaozhou opera (tea drinking with opera + traditional Chaozhou opera)
Guest User2026-02-03
The performance lasted 30 minutes. It was possible to arrive a little early and stay for a while afterward. The hall was beautiful and the performers were wonderful, and I really immersed myself in the culture. The email didn't include an address in Latin or Chinese, which made it difficult to find. It was also unclear how to get into the hall, as the email didn't include tickets. However, customer service reassured me and told me I could enter by giving my last name. Oh, and the tea was absolutely wonderful; I highly recommend it.
