A wonderful evening with a delightful family! We were introduced to the fundamentals of the great variety of fresh and dried herbs and spices that create the magic of Indian food. We rolled chapatis and created vegetable dishes full of flavour. All was explained with warmth and humour by our hostess and her three vivacious daughters. All this in their welcoming home and its immaculate kitchen. We go on a lot of these experiences as a way to meet and spend some time with local people. This was up there with the best and I would highly recommend it.

No guides in the excursion but the one at the fort (1 hour and a half) the rest it's just you and a non English speaking daredevil driver. At Ranakpur no shorts allowed inside (they can lend you some trousers there).
