Reviews: Nuwara Eliya Tea factory and waterfall tour
Guest User2026-02-21
I was exploring Nuawara Eliya alone and on foot, searching for beautiful places. I wasn't quite sure where to go, as all the travel guides suggested different things. Then I met a man with his tuk-tuk who offered to show me around Nuawara Eliya. At first, I was skeptical. It quickly became clear that the man loved his homeland very much and introduced me to Nuawara Eliya in a very warm and welcoming way. We drove around Lake Gregory and stopped at some beautiful photo spots. Afterwards, we went to a tea plantation where I was allowed to take some Ceylon tea seeds. We also drove through the jungle where we could admire enormous trees. We also visited a temple where I learned about the temple and the Buddhist way of life. When my backpack broke, he helped me find a replacement and kept me away from the tourist traps. All in all, a very beautiful and unforgettable experience, full of heart and with great attention to detail. I would do it again in a heartbeat! Many thanks!
