Gorgeous views, a great opportunity to catch a glimpse of several islands. The instructor spoke Russian. It was nice to see that the guys who accompanied us were having a great time too.

The first dive was good, educational, but the guy was given fish food twice, and I wasn't given any. The second time, they took us deeper, and I saw a turtle and lots of big fish, but the guy was taken really far away, and they got lost. When everyone had already left and the boat was about to sail, he wasn't there yet, and I was really scared. Then we swam to them, and the guy said he'd only been taken to see sea urchins and small fish; he didn't see anything interesting, which was really sad. The food on the boat was decent, and we had one meal, and free drinks. They refused to take us back, except to the hotel, and since it wasn't on our way, we had to drive ourselves. You can also buy the same diving experience from the locals on Koh Larn Island, but we were also disappointed that we took a ferry instead of a boat; the ride was long. The ferry costs only 40 baht, if you buy it yourself, then you can also walk around the island and stay there for a swim, but here from point to point, diving takes an hour, and stupidity for about 4 hours. A trip for those who don't want to bother: buy a ticket (in rubles, no less), arrive at your destination, exchange it for a paper one, and then travel to Koh Lan and back with an organized group. You can do the same thing yourself: go to the pier, buy a ticket for 150 baht, go to Koh Lan, do the same there, and return. You can save money and take the ferry for 40 baht, paying with your time: the ferry takes 40-50 minutes, the speedboat 15 minutes. Koh Lan itself is incomparable to Pattaya: the beaches and sea are clean, the sand is white, and the water is clear and turquoise. (Budget Maldives) It's better to arrive at Tha Waen Pier, where you can swim right away; from Na Ban Pier, you need to take transportation to the beach. One of the photos shows the schedule from Bali Hai Pier (at what time and to which beach the speedboats arrive). The beaches have everything: tons of entertainment, cafes, 7-11, showers, toilets, sun loungers, umbrellas, etc. A great option for a good rest, I recommend it.
