It's convenient because you can find it right after exiting the departure hall. The staff was friendly and set it up quickly. The signal was decent, and I used it well. However, I was a little worried because my plan was suspended after 35GB, which was a bit of a concern. I was satisfied because the price was cheaper than buying unlimited data on-site.

Everything activated quickly. The connection worked immediately upon arrival. The modem mode also worked. I got a 50GB eSIM for 10 days. It was enough for social media, instant messaging, and even downloading videos, as well as tethering to my tablet and another phone. The connection quality in Phuket was excellent.

I used this in KL, Bangkok and Shanghai. Overall the signal was ok. Sometimes we do get a drop out but it’s not often. We managed to use all social media platforms with this eSIM at Shanghai. Only thing is if you want to hail a ride you’ll need a number for it in china.


