Reviews: Full-Day Tour to Nisyros The Volcano Island

We all really enjoyed the trip, the day went as planned, very well organised. The volcano was interesting and much bigger than anticipated. Just the right amount of time needed to walk down to it and back again. Mandraki was quaint and charming, a little more time there would have been lovely. We would recommend the trip.

Great trip and a nice experience to go and see Turkey and the Markets. We travelled with our 3 kids (6, 10 & 13). We pre booked a taxi to Kos port but the driver refused to take us near where the boat was leaving from as it was rush hour so we had to walk (about 15mins or so). So if booking a taxi, be specific about where you need to be and not just the port. A little bit of waiting around at either side but I’d say it wasn’t a big deal. Great to experience the Markets where you can haggle with the sellers and get a good deal. Lots to offer, Clothes, trainers, food etc. We got lunch from a Turkish Kebab Restaurant near the bus station. The food was great and very reasonably priced. All in all, a great day for the price.
Reviews: Kos: Ferry Tickets between Kardamena and Nisyros Island

What we particularly enjoyed was the additional visit to a typical mountain village on the way to the volcano. We had plenty of time to explore the volcano itself; all in all, the boat trip, bus ride, and sightseeing were fantastic and stress-free. I highly recommend the ferry and bus tickets.
