Our tour guide, Xiao Chen, was lovely and wonderful! There were more places to eat than we expected, and fresh coconuts were available for purchase. The mountain road was a bit bumpy, but that was unavoidable given the environment. There was also a free farm where we could feed the animals, which were very cute. The staff on the boats to see the monkeys and fireflies were all very cheerful. It was a very worthwhile trip!★

The boat trip takes about an hour and a half each way. Those sitting in the front are more prone to seasickness and vomiting, while those in the back avoid this problem, although the very last row is more likely to get wet. Aside from the long journey, the seawater on the island is incredibly clear. Even non-swimmers can gradually learn the ropes with the instructor's help. The product descriptions and actual products match. For those who don't want to pay extra, you can prepare your own supplies beforehand to avoid additional charges. The staff are very friendly, and the food is quite delicious. Overall, it was a good trip.★

Mount Kinabalu is a must-visit in Sabah. Since it's quite far, it's easier to join a tour group. You can also enjoy paragliding and ATV rides. I bought hay for 2 Malaysian Ringgit to feed the cows. It was a wonderful experience to pick up and drop off cows so close to them for the first time.Trip.com Picks
