Reviews: SSI Open Water Diver Course 2 Day | Kota Kinabalu, Sabah

The underwater world is truly amazing! This diving certification trip included seeing shipwrecks and diving out to see coral reefs. Here are my reasons for recommending it: 1. Excellent Sense of Security I chose SSI because the one-on-two format provides a greater sense of security compared to one-on-four. Luckily, my instructor's instructor also came, making it a one-on-one session, which felt incredibly safe. 💪 2. Smooth and Trustworthy Communication Before the trip, the instructor created a WeChat group. The replies in the group were very formal and written, which was a bit intimidating 😨 like robotic replies. However, once we arrived in person, we found that the instructor spoke excellent Mandarin and also spoke Cantonese and Hakka. Communication was smooth, and my friend and I trusted him completely. 3. Encouraging Learning During the interactive lessons, the instructor asked what percentage of air is nitrogen. I said 78%, and my friend said 72%. The instructor didn't directly contradict my friend, explaining that 72% is the percentage of land on Earth. He also actively encouraged us during the practical sessions, believing that making mistakes is a good thing during the learning phase. This is a small detail that earned me a positive review. 👍
