Eagle feeding, fireflies & blue tears were slightly underwhelming. Lots of mosquitoes at night. About 1.5 hour from kl central, might be difficult to get grab when travelling back to kl central. Sky mirror was beautiful but a lot of waiting time for tide & others to take photos. A lot of long waiting time between tours.

The driver was great. It's crucial to coordinate the itinerary carefully. Taking the 6:30 PM boat ensures a stunning sunset view 🌇. Since you're going to see the bioluminescent plankton and fireflies anyway, arriving early will only mean waiting. Avoid mealtimes; we bought McDonald's on the way back – McDonald's and Musang King durian are the cheapest options in Malaysia 😂. Mount Royal is also worth a visit; the monkeys are incredibly mischievous.

In the morning, our driver/guide arrived at the hotel on time to meet us. He introduced us to the sights along the way and, when time allowed, took us to several more places so we could take some great photos. In the afternoon, since we had extra time, he took us to a local massage parlor, which was very affordable and comfortable. For lunch, he took us to some local specialty shops. He even took us to several stores to buy high-SPF sunscreen. The service was excellent. By the way, our driver/guide, Mr. Lin, looks like the famous actor Wang Zhiwen! 😁

Overall, the full day itineraries are pleasurable. The wet weather did dampen us a bit, but visually, we still were able to have a nice photography session at the raised sandbed, and we enjoyed fireflies and blue tears sighting plus eagle watching. The lady photographer Lao Qian, whom we called Xiao Qian, was very kind, patient, and caring towards us. She reminded us frequently to clear our bladders b4 embarking the 30-minute boat trip to the beach as we needed to spend 2.5 hrs there without any toilet facilities. She helped us all get off and on the boat safely. She is a very kind and gentle person. She even loaned us her umbrella as it was drizzling in the open area. However, the agent assigned to fetch us to & fro from our hotel was just the opposite. I have separately informed Trip.com. Hopefully, he will improve to be more patient and kind towards ladies tourists in the future.
