Reviews: Japan SoftBank 4G/5G eSIM | Day Pass | 1-30 Days | 24-Hour Billing | QR Code

Whenever I travel to Japan, I always buy and use this SIM card. I used Instagram, TikTok, Naver, Google, Google Maps, YouTube, and other apps without any issues. Aside from a brief internet outage on the way up to the Mt. Fuji observatory, it was convenient. Navigation worked flawlessly, too! I was debating how many gigabytes I wanted, but I chose 2GB/day, and it was plenty for me!

Mount Aso is an absolute must-visit in Japan. Unbeatable value for the ticket price!
Reviews: [Japan eSIM] KDDI(au) local 4G/5G data eSIM | High-speed Data
Guest User2025-10-07
It was cheaper than buying a second SIM elsewhere, and I had already bought one elsewhere, but it didn't work well during my trip, so I was trying to buy it again, but it was the weekend, so I couldn't buy it at the Korean seller. Even though it was a second SIM, they said they would send it during business hours, so I was in an awkward situation in the middle of my trip, so I bought a new one here, and as soon as I bought it, I got a second SIM QR right away, probably because it was an overseas-based site. Thanks to that, I was able to travel comfortably for the rest of my trip. If you are planning to use a second SIM in the small city of Matsuyama-Takamatsu, I recommend KDDI (au) instead of Softbank. Softbank doesn't even have 5G and the quality is bad. I liked Softbank when I went to Tokyo, but maybe because it's a small city, it was unexpectedly bad.
Reviews: JR Kyushu Rail Pass (All/Southern/Northern)

With JRpass, sightseeing in Kitakyushu is very convenient. You can switch between free and reserved seats at will, and you can also change to Shinkansen. It is very cost-effective.
Reviews: Kumamoto Castle & Aso Crater Exploration, Kusasenri Horseback Riding, Depart from Fukuoka/Kumamoto

The meeting point was right by the Starbucks at the east-shiroku exit of Hakata Station, and we departed right on time. Some tourists overslept and didn't even wait. They were very punctual. The bus was in excellent condition, with plenty of air conditioning. The guide was very welcoming. Kumamoto Castle and Mount Aso were both great. Despite the heat, Kumamoto Castle was worth visiting; it's air-conditioned and offers a panoramic view from above. There were also many delicious dishes on the first floor. The horse meat fried cakes were delicious, and the limited-edition watermelon soda was very quenching. Due to Mount Aso's active season, we couldn't get the bus to our nearest viewing location, which was a shame. The ice cream on the mountain was delicious and worth trying. The set lunch menu was also good, though a bit pricey up there. The air was nice, and walking on the grass was much cooler than at the foot of the mountain.
