The guide was knowledgable and communicative. We suffered from altitude sickness and the guide and driver were very good with tips and tricks to make us feel better. The only downside was the weather as Cotopaxi was hidden in the clouds.

Andres was very nice and knowledgeable. He told us a lot about the volcanoes and his country. His enthusiasm was contagious. Unfortunately, the weather didn't cooperate.

My guide, Christian, made the trip very enjoyable. The drive to Cotopaxi Volcano was long and unusual traffic due to an accident made it even longer. Christian kept me entertained with facts and stories about the area. When we arrived at the horses, Christian introduced me to the wrangler, Carlos, who knew little English and I knew even less Spanish. But Christian made sure we had the basics down. My horse was well mannered, compact with a smooth gait. We saw beautiful sights. The weather was cool and a light mist fell. I was provided with a helmet and poncho. After the ride Christian took me to what I would describe as a bird sanctuary. He was able to point out the different birds. After we headed back to Quito. It was a full and enjoyable day.

It was fantastic, a great experience, especially because of our guide Carolina. She was very kind and attentive, making our experience a thousand times better. The tour had beautiful views of Cotopaxi. The horseback riding was perfect; we didn't have any problems. The hike to the Cotopaxi volcano was also incredible. I recommend it 100%.


