I used it quite a lot in Bali and Jakarta, posting to Instagram daily, using Google Maps, taking Grab rides, and watching videos, but I never ran out of data and it was very comfortable. The connection was stable and I got a connection immediately upon arrival. Especially in Indonesia, you'll need to use eVOA (electronic visa), Grab ride-hailing, and translation apps frequently upon entry, so I recommend installing and activating the eSIM before leaving Japan. It eliminates the hassle of searching for and connecting to airport Wi-Fi, and you can use the internet immediately upon arrival, making immigration, visa application, and ride-hailing much smoother. Setting it up was easy with just a QR code. For sightseeing, this data allowance should be sufficient. For first-time visitors to Indonesia, it's much easier than buying a SIM card at the airport.

I used this eSIM in Singapore. I could connect local network almost non-stress. When I get on MRT (underground section), 5G was sometimes unavailable. But I didn't mind very much.

It completely lived up to my expectations. I got the 30GB plan for 30 days. I was in Bali for 21 days and used maybe 10GB of the 30GB, mostly for maps and social media. I didn't watch any movies or anything while there, but I did watch YouTube videos. My wife was a more active user and used about 29GB of the 30GB. The connection was stable in Bali, Nusa Penida, and Gili.


