Our guide Philip was humorous, friendly, and informative. Since the salt mine opens at around 11 AM, Philip drove us around the Bavarian Alps to enjoy some incredible views before he took us to the mine. The salt mine was also a fun experience. We slid down two slides and had a beautiful boat ride across a “salt lake”. After the salt mine tour, my partner and I had other plans in Berchtesgaden, and Philip was kind enough to drop us off at the location before he took the rest of the group back to Salzburg. We highly recommend this tour and Philip!

The atmosphere was amazing and authentic. The food was well prepared. One thing I would recommend to make the experience more enjoyable is to have music play during the breaks. It doesn’t have to be the live music it could be a CD or something. Something light to listen to.
