We booked this tour after the tour on our cruise ship that we wanted to do sold out. I’m so so glad that we got to book this tour because the experience was nothing short of spectacular from start to finish. We were greeted by Risheylin as soon as we got off our cruise ship - she was easy to find and holding a sign with our group name. As soon as we arrived she introduced herself and our driver Roberto. We were a group of 4 and had the vehicle to ourselves. Risheylin made sure she understood what we wanted to get out of the day to make sure our experience was fantastic. We visited a banana plantation where we learned about local flora and fauna. We got to try free coffee and were given a full fruit breakfast which was great. This was followed by the Cahuita National Park, a beach and swim stop, then sloth sanctuary and then a mini chocolate factory. Risheylin explained everything perfectly along the way, she explained about the culture the language and taught us lots about Costa Rica. Our driver Roberto was an extremely safe driver and we had a great experience being driven all around the island. I would 1000% recommend Risheylin and Roberto to anyone coming to Costa Rica (Limón) and I will definitely be returning to this beautiful place in the future.

We had an amazing canal tour with Louis. He was very friendly and competent, had a lot of interesting information about the flora and found and the history of the park. We really loved the experience. We explored the canals with him in very nature friendly quite way and had the chance to see so many animals - birds, lizards, caymans, monkeys and tortoises. It was amazing. Don’t book the big group tours with motor boats, book this super nice tour - we couldn’t be happier about our choice today! :) Thank you, Louis for the great day!

Timothy is a really great guide. We saw so many animals. If we had visited Cahuita National Park on our own, we would have seen almost nothing. He explained everything very clearly and in a really engaging way. We were also able to take photos through his monocular. 6 out of 5 stars. Muchas gracias!

We went out kayaking with Héctor and had an excellent time! He was very kind and patient and shared a lot of information about the environment and history of Tortuguero. He even took some pictures and videos for us! We saw many animals on this tour, including toucans, baby caimans, a baby crocodile, jacanas, anhingas, and bats sleeping under a log! It was very exciting to kayak through the narrow parts of the lagoon where only kayaks could fit. We liked this tour so much we booked more the next day! Thank you Héctor and Tortuguero Adventures!
