The absolute highlight of our Lisbon trip! If you only have time for one day trip from Lisbon, make it this one. Seeing the vibrant colors of Pena Palace and the coastal charm of Cascais was breathtaking, but what truly made the day was our guide, Rui. Rui is a total pro—engaging, knowledgeable, and clearly passionate about Portuguese history. He managed the logistics perfectly so we could just soak in the views. He’s amazing and I cannot recommend him highly enough. Do yourself a favor and ask for Rui!

Our guide, Diogo, was the absolute best! He was friendly and knowledgeable. He gave us recommendations for places to eat and helped us understand the culture of Sintra and Cascais as well as the language. He had a great sense of humor and it was easy to tell he loves his job and his country!
