The Cruce Andino was an extraordinary, unique day for me. The planning and coordination of the individual stages were flawless; everything went perfectly. The tour guides did a fantastic job, consistently providing explanations and descriptions in both Spanish and English. The landscape we traversed, especially the volcanoes and mountains to the left and right of the three lakes we crossed, was breathtaking. We were also lucky enough to have good weather. It was truly a highlight of my trip to Chile.★

A great experience; the safari tour, which includes a lagoon and another boat trip, is an extra charge, but well worth it. However, if you're just visiting for the day, you only have 3-4 hours to explore Peulla. If you enjoy hiking, the trails are another way to spend those hours; the silence is breathtaking. There are only a couple of food options at the hotel. If you're looking for snacks, you'll have to get them from the catamaran or the shop at Puerto Petrohue.Trip.com picks
