Reviews: Cartagena Instagrammable History

Carlos was an amazing tour guide who took me to a lot of spots to take some great pictures. He also explained the history and background of the sites and the art as we passed by. He also pointed out specialty stores like coffee boutiques with special coffee from the region. We even saw sloths and tiny monkeys in the Parque Centenario! Carlos, thanks for all the pictures! I'm glad I'm able to show my family how much I love this place.

I was overwhelmed by the sheer size of the stadium. The footage conveyed how exciting football is for the people of Bilbao. It was a valuable experience to see the rooms and corridors that are actually in use.

We had an incredible day on the From San Sebastián: Bilbao, Guggenheim & Dragonstone Tour, largely thanks to our guide, Paul Garcia. He was extremely knowledgeable about the Basque Country and its rich history, which really brought the experience to life. The hike up Gaztelugatxe was a highlight. Paul was attentive throughout, regularly checking we were comfortable, supplying water, recommending the best photo spots, and even taking great pictures of us. He genuinely cared about us having a great experience. His food recommendations in Bilbao were excellent (El Globo was a standout), and overall he was prompt, professional, and very friendly. We couldn’t have asked for a better guide and would absolutely recommend this tour, especially with Paul. We did the tour in February and had perfect weather. Full disclosure: the hike would likely be much more challenging in summer, so I’d avoid peak heat unless you’re a confident hiker.
