Reviews: Chiang Mai Kerchor elephant eco park half-day tour optional rafting

It was a really great experience. It seems like Koreans don't use Trip.com much; there were hardly any Koreans and everyone was Chinese. However, I liked that they operated separate groups for the Chinese and the Koreans (a small minority). They also spoke English very well.

Reviews: Kachiao Elephant Sanctuary Half-Day Tour (Elephant Care + Elephant Bathing & Feeding + Hotel Transfer)
Guest User2026-10-09
The opportunity to get up close and personal with elephants is incredibly rare. The elephants are very gentle, non-aggressive, and adorable! The most fun part was helping them bathe with water using a scoop – so much fun! However, there were many people signing up, so everyone waited around, and the actual experience ended about half an hour earlier than scheduled, meaning the actual interaction time with the elephants was quite short.

It was a very interesting experience. The elephants were very gentle, though some were quite mischievous. The mud bath and bathing sessions were particularly fun.

Reviews: Chiang Mai Kerchor Elephant Eco Park | Feeding + Water Play + Meal + Tour Guide

Before the trip, I informed the driver via WeChat of the estimated arrival time at the hotel. The wait was about ten minutes. The car was new and comfortable. Today, the Chinese-speaking guide explained things very carefully and took good care of each participant. I've attached photos of the Chinese-speaking guide today, as well as a photo of my daughter and me being sprayed with water by an elephant.
