I had a surf lesson with my guide, Rama. After a great introduction on the beach, we got right to it and were able to catch our first waves. After each attempt, Rama gave me excellent tips, which helped me improve with every run. As a result, I was able to stand up steadily on the board after only a short time. Surfing is also very strenuous, and paddling can quickly become quite tiring for the shoulders. Fortunately, Rama helped me whenever it got too strenuous, so I didn't have to paddle the whole time.

I arrived early and waited outside for an hour before going in. I thought about buying a ticket to go in, but it felt like a waste of money. Actually, I should have been more rational and entered earlier, or gotten a discounted package ticket. The performance was pretty good, but after watching Lijiang's "Eternal Love", I felt it lacked a grand and vibrant feel. It's more of a commercialized performance.

We had great fun. It ended up being just 6 of us on the boat which was really nice, so spots weren't too busy (apart from the statues but that's to be expected). We saw two turtles up close, and lots of different fishes. Overall a great trip!
