One of the best forest walks in Costa Rica. Our guide - Andre- was so informative and knew so much about the fauna and flora. I would give him more than 5 rating if it were possible!! Even before the tour started he had located a well camouflaged iguana on a tree. And he not only showed us animals and birds but also told us facts and stories about those creatures in a fun and interesting manner. We ended up seeing rare and difficult to find birds and animals including the tent bat, the smallest kingfisher in the world as well as three sloths - which was amazing!! I highly recommend a tour with Andre. The beach after the tour was also amazing. And so relaxing. It was great that we got to spend as much time as we wanted in the park after the almost 2.5 hours guided tour ( which by the way felt that it went too quickly). The return walk was also interesting and allowed us to practice our newly discovered skills in identifying animals - we identified another sloth high up on a tree that

The tour through the mangroves was beautiful, and we saw many animals, even a snake and a caiman. The guide also shared a lot of knowledge and explanations. Unfortunately, the monkeys are fed, so they come onto the boat and perch on tourists' shoulders for photos.

Amazing. Jeremías is prompt, knowledgeable, funny, and one of the best guides we have experienced on one of our many tours in Costa Rica. He has a lot of experience with these tours, has a keen eye, and is very passionate about sharing his knowledge of the landscape and the animals. I am so happy we booked this tour last minute. He keeps his groups to two to no more than eight people. We saw many frogs, a glimpse of a snake, different spiders and bugs, birds, a sleepy sloth, bats, and got to walk through a crocodile and butterfly sanctuary. Jeremías called me to confirm our tour, checked to make sure we had proper attire and let us know the meeting location. When we arrived he gave us flashlights to use and gave us all plenty of opportunities to see the creatures and shared all of the pictures he took with his phone through his SWAROVSKI HD spotting scope. I am excited to book in the future on our next trip to Costa Rica. Thank you Jeremías.
