The day started with a good explanation of how to use the kayak. It's great that it has a large waterproof storage compartment, perfect for a backpack with lunch. Then we were taken to the water, and after a brief instruction session, we were allowed to go completely independently. The map we received was helpful for navigating the water. A fun addition was spotting seals.★

We went on the Bayview tour on Feb 12th at 10am. Our guide was fantastic. Very friendly, very safety conscious and very knowledgeable. The track was great and the views from the end of the trail were spectacular. We highly recommend doing this Quad Bike tour.★

We were quite lucky and had a private tour. Our guide was Connor and it was such an amazing day! He told us a lot about the history and the nature and spending time with him made the day so much more fun :) we explored together beautiful lagoons and he took some cool pictures. Overall it was one of the best days we’ve had in NZ :)★
