The experience became even more special thanks to the guide Aya, who was friendly, knowledgeable, and attentive throughout the trip. Aya explained the culture, history, and desert lifestyle with great passion, making everything feel authentic and engaging. From camel rides to watching the sunset, every moment was well organized and enjoyable. The desert camp offered delicious food, warm hospitality, and a magical evening under the stars. Agafay may be quiet and minimal, but with a guide like Aya, it becomes truly unforgettable.

Unbeatable for the price – it had everything you could wish for / the group was very diverse (families, students, older couples) and there was something for everyone – I highly recommend it – I traveled alone as a woman and felt safe and comfortable in every situation – the journey was excellent too. Overall, the excursion was very worthwhile; however, contrary to what was stated when booking, the guide did not speak German. The lunch location was great, but the food was cold. Furthermore, the hike is only suitable for people who are in good physical condition and not afraid of heights.


