Reviews: Stone Town Historical Walking Tour

Great walking tour with Alfa. He was able to provide an in depth history of Zanzibar including the political and cultural influences of the island. Alfa could answer all our questions and made the tour enjoyable for the whole family. His knowledge of the streets of Stone Town is incredible and the walking tour included all the highlights although he was able to adapt the tour as required including a stop on the rooftop of Swahili House.

An organized tour would be best, lots of narrow streets that twist and turn. Lots of interesting neighbourhoods to see.

At the end of our stay in Zanzibar, we wanted to organise a bespoke private tour of Stone Town to include hotel pick-up and airport drop off with our luggage. Mo and his team sorted it without any problem and at a very fair price. Mohammed, our driver and tour guide, was very friendly and knowledgeable.
