Milford Sound is a must-see in New Zealand. Not only is it a unique fjord landscape unlike any found in my country, but Milford Sound in the rain is even more like something out of Lord of the Rings than on a sunny day. We set off early from Queenstown, trekking through mountains and rainforests shrouded in mist. The sky was overcast, and we occasionally passed waterfalls formed by mountain streams, enveloped in fog. It was truly breathtaking.Trip.com picks
