The tour guide was friendly and super knowledgeable. He described the geology and history of the area, and was easy to talk to. The ride to the island was easy and really scenic, despite the weather (it was really windy and rainy in patches). The walk uphill on Mou Waho as at least 30 to 40 minutes and is a solid uphill climb, and you get to listen to beautiful birdsong the whole way. The scenery at top is incredible. If the weather is windy, dress warmly! And dress and layers because you will get warm, climbing uphill.★

Hanna was a wonderfully enthusiastic, knowledgeable, and personable guide for our day trip to Franz Josef! She expertly paced our day so we could take in all the dynamic and stunning sights along the way: lakes, mountains, forests, beaches, waterfalls, and glaciers! Hanna did this all while safely driving and traversing the roads. She made a long day feel so memorable and worthwhile with her easygoing nature, extensive knowledge of New Zealand and deep respect for the Māori people and culture. Thank you Hanna!★

We were very fortunate to see the beautiful scenery of Tianchi Lake, which was truly magnificent. Because it was the off-season, there were very few tourists, which was great. Moreover, there were only four tourists in our booked North Slope day trip, so we were lucky enough to use a Buick minivan. The guide and driver were very helpful. The flight delays were incredibly frustrating, and I hope Ctrip can provide more assistance in this regard. Due to heavy rain in Changbai Mountain on the way there, we had to stay overnight in Changchun, and they refunded the cost of the first night's accommodation, which was excellent.
