We were looking for a way to learn about the political history of Sarajevo and BiH in the one day that we had to explore the city. Our tour with Ibrahim totally made the visit. He was professional, engaging, knowledgeable and friendly. He was also able to answer questions from a personal perspective as his parents lived in Sarajevo during the siege. He did a wonderful job explaining the complicated BiH political history as well as current day status and he led us through the Tunnel of Hope tour in a way that enriched the things we saw there. I can't say enough for this tour. It was so worth the money and Ibrahim really maximized our time there. The van was comfortable and we were fortunate to have just 4 people on our tour so it felt very personal. The fee for the Tunnel of Hope was an additional charge that we paid at the office just before we left for the tour. Tip: if you arrive ahead of time for your tour, there is a lovely little cafe with excellent coffee and baklava just in front of the office. If you look out the office windows, you will be looking into the cafe.

Reviews: Sarajevo: Tunnel Museum Yugoslavia War Tour with War Veteran

This was the most impactful tour we have ever experienced and we have travelled the world. With great courage and honour for his friends and fellow soldiers who died in the war, Adis relived his most terrible moments and the history of the siege with honesty and compassion. He was patient and forthright and we cannot recall a more moving tour experience than this one. Thank you Adis for sharing your experience and ensuring that others will never forget either.
