This was a wonderful hike. The guide, Samy, was enthusiastic and knowledgeable about his home area. We walked through his village near the end of the excursion. Samy explained the uses of the parts of the tea plant. There was a lot more to see. Plenty of evidence of wild animals - porcupines, elephants, bison (guar). We saw deer and a sambar. He also showed many herbs and fruits: tea tree, lemon grass, mint, passion fruit, orange, lemon, coffee, pepper. All in all, it was a highly enjoyable and very informative day.

We had a fantastic day with Mari, a really amazing morning walking through the plantation and learning everything about Tea harvesting. I would without a doubt recommend this trip to anyone!
