I booked a VIP tour this time, and the itinerary was very packed, with five or six boat trips in total, making it a fairly in-depth tour.
The Mekong River didn't look very clear; the water was quite yellow and covered with water hyacinths, but there was no unpleasant odor.
The island had many plants (various fruits) and animals (pythons, crocodiles, catfish, etc.), and the guide led the tour, providing very enthusiastic explanations. At the narrow section of the river where boats were manually rowed, the guide mentioned that a tip was expected for the rowers. Before the tour ended, the guide suggested that if we were satisfied with the trip, we could also tip him; I felt I had to give him something, otherwise I'd feel awkward.★

Joni was a wonderful guide, absolutely brilliant, positive, and responsive. We loved the tour. We didn't lose anyone, which is key 😀 Lunch was included, and they even took our food allergies into account, which is crucial. We lived in a different area, so we had to get to the office ourselves. They sent us the address in advance, so we found the right place without any problems.★

The most satisfying part of the trip; the experience was great. It was a good thing that the shopping locations listed on the website were clearly indicated, and there was no forced shopping or excessive persuasion, nor was there any pressure to stay a certain amount of time. You could stay longer if you were interested, and simply move on if you weren't. The meals, fruits, and activities were all good.★
