Massa is very experienced and speaks good English. We enjoyed his explanation about the history of togakushi. He also brought us to have delicious soba lunch which we also enjoyed very much.★

I had the most perfect day! Endo San, our tour guide, is a retired professor which makes him the most incredible and knowledgeable tour guide. As one of the only remaining original castles from the Edo period, the Matsumoto Castle is a must visit for anyone that admires history. Visiting a traditional town and home in Narai-juku was a dream. I would recommend not missing the headless Virgen Mary, now a Shinto shrine, but also done so Christians that had to keep their religion hidden could visit during the 1700's. I hope you are lucky enough to have Endo San take you out for one of the most insightful visits I have had while in Japan!!!About
