Even though the weather wasn’t great we still enjoyed our cruise very much. The captain and staff were very professional and friendly. We felt well looked after.
Reviews: Abel Tasman: Sea Shuttle Cruise and Walking Tour Combo

The tour was fabulous and we really appreciated being picked up by the shuttle bus , very thoughtful of the company to save trying to park in Kaiteriteri . The boat cruise was amazing and we were given great updates on the trip , we were dropped at Apple Tree Bay and did the stunning walk through Abel Tasman to Anchorage bay with time for a lovely paddle on the beach before being picked up and taken back to Kaiteriteri. Would highly recommend this tour 👌
Reviews: Abel Tasman National Park: Day Sailing Adventure with Lunch
Guest User2026-01-16
The sailing trip was lovely, although the weather wasn't ideal as the sun was taking a break and the wind was calm. However, the skipper and guide really made it happen! Flipper and his siblings even joined us, which made the trip even more enjoyable. The packed lunch was a bit basic for the price, and the instant coffee was just okay. The boat was very clean and tidy. Many thanks to the team! L & E

Absolutely loved it. Our safety instructor Henry did a wonderful job. Everyone was polite and professional. The park itself is just as beautiful as in the pictures. After the security briefing, you start your activity around 10 AM and need to be back by 4 PM. Would definitely do it again. But keep in mind that doing this on the ocean with waves is much more exhausting than going kayaking on a river or lake. Certain level of fitness is required.
Reviews: Abel Tasman National Park: Cruise, Walk & Sailing Tour

I thoroughly recommend doing this activity for anyone spending time in Abel Tasman. The shuttle was a great way to get to Anchorage Bay which had the most amazing walks and views as well as being the most wonderful beach. The sail back was the perfect way to finish of our day and teh crew where both very accommodating and informative. I recommend buying the lunches from the operator as they were well worth it.
