A very beautiful museum in harmony with the arena, with interesting exhibits and a welcome educational approach. Sometimes it's difficult to know how to access certain information sources, but the staff is there to help. I think this museum deserves several visits.

For us (ages 88-73), the Gauls were colonized by the Romans around 2000 years ago and defeated at Alesia. What this exhibition taught us is that this colonization wasn't as dramatic as it seemed, since the Romans managed to elevate the most gifted Gauls to positions of power within society!
