Both the bear and wolf/lynx/ jackal centre were really interesting and had knowledgeable guides more tha happy to speak English for us lazy tourists. The bears were out in force but sadly the lynx and wolves were sheltering from the heat - they're not daft! However, a female Golden Jackal put on a show for us and came right to the fence and sang for us. Amazing.

I activated my SIM card back in Russia, and when I landed in Istanbul, I turned on the phone and the SIM card worked immediately. It worked perfectly in Istanbul, and then in cities in France – also great. In Italy, the connection was spotty, even in central Rome, it simply stopped working. But overall, for the price, everything was great; 2 GB per day was more than enough, considering I had Wi-Fi connected at the hotel.
