The driver and guide provided excellent service and clearly had a passion for their job. Although it was raining that day, it didn't detract from the beauty of Remington Park, making it a unique experience.

This tour was beyond fabulous. Our tour guide, David, was so knowledgeable and well versed on anything and everything we threw at him from the flora and fauna to the history of the country and the people who have inhabited it, lo, these last 65,000 years. He went out of his way to tailor the tour to the specific interests of the group including making sure I got to see some kangaroos, for which, I am forever grateful. Southern Cross is a tightly run ship and the customer service went above and beyond to make sure our experience was superlative. Oh and the sights were extraordinary! Highly recommend.

Jamie was a wonderful guide. Since we had two children with us, we had to make some requests—like stopping for bathroom breaks—but he was very accommodating. Also, since our kids love birds, he explained a lot about them while we were in the rainforest and showed us some great spots for birdwatching. We were thrilled to finally see the wild cockatoos we’d been hoping to see.

The fireflies were barely visible because their light was too weak and few in number. The guide was friendly and gave interesting explanations in English, and the cake snacks were delicious. Walking through the mountains at night while listening to the cries of dingoes was a unique experience.
