The 7-day tour of Seto Inland Sea is a must-choice, and the price is super high. This time, I took the Yamyang Shinkansen Hakata-Hiroshima-Tao-Okama-Osaka, Hiroshima-Matsuyama ferry, and also went to the famous punching point Xiatan Station. The cyclist's holy place Imiji Station and Xiaodou Island Ferry can take it. The best travel planning in advance will make your journey more economical and smooth.

Easy to use. Just have to use the green ticketing machine at the JR station to redeem the JR pass. Using it to travel to and from Osaka and Hiroshima via the Sanyo Shinkansen already made the pass worth it!

This is a very convenient pass. It pays for itself with a single roundtrip from Osaka or Kyoto to Miyajima/Hiroshima. Please note that the Osaka-Kyoto-Osaka section is not included in this pass, as this section of the Shinkansen is part of the Tokaido Line. However, the pass includes many express and regular trains on this section, so the journey can easily be completed in 20-30 minutes, depending on the time of day.

Very good pass and we went to couples new places by using this JR pass from Hiroshima to Hakata. We took JR train, Shinkansen and even boat.

If you buy it here, you can exchange it for a paper ticket at the counter. Since you have to go through the ticket gate, you can't use it on the Shinkansen within Hiroshima city. It was an incredible deal as it allowed unlimited rides on Miyajima ferries, Hiroshima Electric Railway, and buses! It also included a discount on admission fees and sweets, so it was well worth it. There was also a discount for the Peace Museum. I think a paper ticket would have been better as you don't have to bring up the screen every time like with an electronic ticket.


