We departed from our Cebu hotel at 4 AM, and after a 3-hour drive, arrived in Oslob for a close encounter with whale sharks (the world's largest fish). In the afternoon, we went diving in Moalboal to see sardines. The round trip took over 8 hours, but it was definitely worth it.
Although it was a shared tour, there were only 7 of us. The driver was Filipino, and the guide was Chinese (Xiao Duan). They provided commentary throughout the trip, and the service was excellent. They took great care of everyone, and communication was seamless.★

The boat boarding point in Oslob only has a small table; if the tuk-tuk driver hadn't been very familiar with the area, we might have missed it. Just be mindful of everything else.★
